July 12th: Today we are taking advantage of being tied up to the
Customs Dock. It is a bit primitive but very quiet and it has a hose
nearby. We have hosed off all of the salt water, cleaned the cockpit
(finding stray peanuts and advil pills), and stowed all of the
‘offshore’ gear. ET, our trusty dinghy is now inflated and resting on
top of the cabin. We hiked into town and did laundry. The salt air
really clings to all that cold weather gear. This afternoon we will
head further up Ucluelet Inlet and anchor at the head.
